Auxcast

So, by now, you'll have probably noticed the little graphic for the Auxcast on the side navbar. Click it and you'll be able to download episode one. It's a real mixed bag of amazing music and that's the template for each episode - no tempo, no boundaries, whatever goes.

Much like the autonomic podcasts, I both love and hate the idea of no set-lists. On the one hand it brings back a certain mystery where your like: "Oh my god, what is this track playing now??" and you have to dig around to find out things and it is kinda fun filling in the set. ... On the other hand when you have the tracks listed it's easy to look up the artists and get more music from them. Either way I'm sticking around for the ride. Loved this one!

Listened in phones at work. The interesting twists and turns provide a glimpse of the compiler's musical frame of mind. I believe I came away with the same some sort of lasting impression, much like with the ASC "studio" mixes. There was a track in there which sounded quite ASC-ish which I do hope I've either overlooked somehow or that it will be released soon. At any rate, thanks for sharing an auxiliary Auxiliary moment.

OAK / ASC - Otaku (ASC Remix) - just happened upon this with my detector - smooth as glass. I enjoyed OAK's Bedroom Community / Kite release earlier on as well. The tracks are ffearlessly quiet and allow necessary transients to permeate a blackness. fine works, both - Recommend
