Remix time

I've just completed a couple of remixes.  First of all, look out for Calculon - Odessa (ASC Remix) forthcoming on Rubiks Records within the next few months.  Not sure on the 12" catalogue number for that just yet, but I'll announce it once I know.  Also completed is a remix of Mindmapper - Orbital Orchestra for Translation Recordings.  I think that will be TRNSL007.  I'll post audio on the usual places nearer the time.

Release Dates

Finally, the news we've all been waiting for.  Here's the release dates for the 12" sampler and the LP/CD.

Also, in between that, you have Vaccine's debut 12" for NonPlus+ on 007, which will be out on June 28th.  Look out for audio of all the tracks over the coming weeks.

Decided to change the look of the blog and spice it up a little. Nothing too major, but a nice update I think. Hope you like it!

So much negativity

There's a massive influx of negativity on certain forums as of late.  Surely if you don't like something, you would spend your time and energy focusing on something you do like instead of complaining?  It might come as a shock to some of you, but we all have different tastes in music, and yes, even drum & bass.  Onwards and upwards.  Positive not negative.

Club Muse Podcast

You wait ages for a new ASC mix, then 3 come along at once!  Sometimes, that's just how it works out.  Anyway, this will be the last new mix for a while, as I don't want to saturate your playlists with too many mixes.  One good thing is that all 3 mixes this month are all completely different.  You've had the Autonomic studio mix, the ambient Deep Space 14 mix, and now this.  As you can see from the track listing, this is a very eclectic mixed bag of sounds, ranging from 90's hip hop, dubstep, experimental 140bpm stuff, and finishing off with a few half tempo autonomic bits.  Track listing is below, and the download link is below that.  Enjoy.

Gotta say, I'm a big fan of this site already.  It's a similar type of site to Soundcloud, in that you can upload your audio, share it on the web, embed it on certain sites and people can leave comments etc.  The best thing about it, is it's free.  There's no restrictions as to how much you can upload and time limits on audio you have up there, like Soundcloud.  Time will tell if it actually stays free, but with a decent amount of artists already on there, it's growing fast. 

I will be using Fairtilizer for all my mixes from now on and also for preview clips of my forthcoming LP.
